Installation Leader, Display Technology.   Project scope:  For an USA Fortune 500 company - install a new high tech LCG (Liquid Crystal Glass) inspection line for high tech Liquid Crystal Glass manufacturing. Project involves: Japan, and Suppliers in Taiwan, Canada, Germany, and several locations in the USA.   Project time: 5 months.

 

Logistics Leader and Project Management: at a Photonics, Fiber Optic Technologies Plant.    Project scope: For a Fortune 500 company - Relocation of fiber coupler technology, manufacturing photonic assemblies, components, and special optic fibers from varied locations to a newly built facility. The work content involved the management and supervision of over 150 projects.   Project time: 1.25 years (one and one quarter years)

 

Liaison Management and American Site Manager: Installed a new process/manufacturing line into a Canadian Manufacturer.  Project scope: Provided management support and direction for the engineering processes and their equipment, including: installation, debug, process qualification, and engineering support. It also included: monitored adherence of program planning against objectives, recommending and instigating remedial action as needed. This resulted in the facilities survival as the only non-USA manufacturer using the metalized ceramic semiconductor technology and being the lowest cost fabricator of these type semiconductors.  Project time: 3.5 years (three and one half years).

 

Project Management: New Products engineering for a Fortune 100 Manufacturer Project scope: Mission was to implement new semiconductor products and technologies from the laboratories into manufacturing production. This involved establishing commonality between the two areas, new equipment purchases, installations, process and equipment debug, establishing maintenance procedures, training of personnel, process qualifications, initial line support, upgrades and enhancements.  Project time: 1 year (one-year)

 

Project Management: Laboratory Expansion for a Fortune 100 Manufacturer:   Project scope: Expansion of a small ceramic laboratory into a major facility with the capability of producing early engineering and pre-manufacturing products. The new facility had the ability to evaluate high-density product designs, new fabrication technologies, and was used to gain manufacturing experience prior to transfer to high volume production manufacturing. A clean room concept was used to improve quality of tests and product. The facility became self-supporting and able to operate at a profit.  Project time: 1 year (one-year)

 

Project Management: Transfer of a semiconductor substrate manufacturing line for a Fortune 100 Manufacturer.  Project scope: transfer of the MC semiconductor (substrate) manufacturing line from a Fortune 100 Company in East Fishkill, New York to their Endicott, New York location, while meeting customer orders, and the training of the Endicott location personnel.  Project time: 10 months (ten months).

 

Project Leadership: Transfer of a manufacturing semiconductor module-assemble line from East Fishkill, New York to a Subcontractor's Facility, located in Sherman, Texas. Project scope: Included the transfer and training of the new company's 's personnel while they were producing quality product at a proper cost and meeting volume shipments.  Project time: 3.0 months (three-months)

 

Study and Evaluation of Suppliers from India and Russia: For an IT Company, located in New York State.  Technology: Software Development (several languages).  Project scope: Study and evaluation of several Indian and Russian Supplier of Services Companies, included the merits of forming USA-India and Russian Company Alliances. Project time: 20 Days (twenty days)

 

Investment Studies and Evaluation:  For Private Investment;   Technology: Fast Food, Specific Enterprises.   Locations:  New York, USA; Quebec, Canada, Albuquerque New Mexico, and St. Petersburg, Russia.  Project time: Several studies

Total Quality Management, for a diversified Russian (top 10) Russian Computer Manufacturer.  Technology: Computer Build.  Project scope Worked with the major department of their Technical Division and the major departments of their Service Organization. Initiated the beginning of a TQM (Total Quality Management) System, this laying the groundwork for ISO Certification. Implemented over 18 new quality measurements and controls. Implemented new quality infrastructure. Audited and Improved Operational Management and Marketing.  Project time: 4.0 months in St. Petersburg, Russia; 2 days in Moscow, Russia, and 1 month follow-up

 

Technology - Business Evaluation, for an Italian-Russian Investment Company Technology: 3D Laser Imaging (in the pre-manufacturing stage), also known as: "Full Space Color Laser Cylindrical Display System".   Project scope: Evaluation for feasibility towards exploring preliminary interest of companies identified in their research report, which they can develop independently into business agreements. Also attended and assisted in joint meetings between Russian and Italian Partners.   Project time: 10 Days in St. Petersburg, Russia and 1 week follow-up.

 

Technology - Business Evaluation, for a Russian Software Company:  Technology: Data Management System and Predictive Maintenance Software.  Project scope: Explore preliminary interest of companies in the USA and Europe, which they can develop independently into business agreements. Also attended and assisted in joint meetings with a potential Canadian Business Partner, a Canadian Technical Services Company.  Project time: 3 weeks in St. Petersburg, Russia;  2 days in Novgorod, Russia; and followed with 3 months support work in the USA.

 

Technology - Business Evaluation, for a Russian Research and Development Company Technology: Magnetic Flow-Stream Testing.  Project scope: Explore preliminary interest of companies within the USA, which they can develop independently into business agreements. Several USA Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 Companies express an interest in the technology.  Project time: 1 month in St. Petersburg, Russia. ICCB remains as a USA business advisor.

 

Technology - Business Evaluation, for a (large) Russian Manufacturer.   Technology: The Company specializes in the manufacture and testing of pipeline stop valves, such as: cast iron valves, steel valves, bronze valves, and special valves, including valves for nuclear power plants. Over 1 million valves are sold annually.  Project scope: Audited their manufacturing line and suggested changes to manufacturing to international measurement standards; marketing; management; organizational structure; social infrastructure; and improving management skills. Also, provide the company with opportunities for outside capital investment.  Project time: 4 weeks in Kurgan, (Siberia) Russia; 2 days in Moscow, Russia; and 2 days in Yekaterinburg, Russia. ICCB remains as a USA business advisor.

 

Technology - Business Evaluations, new technology:  Technology: construction method/ patent for startup company in Central RussiaProject scope: Evaluation and to promoted Western European and US Agreements.  Project time: 1 week effort in the USA

 

Technology - Business Evaluations, for a Russian Silicon Wafer Manufacturer Technology: The company has 15 highly qualified physicist and electrical engineers. Their product is Silicon Crystal Wafer (chips for semiconductors).  Project scope: Suggested changes to operational management and fundamental market research of buyers and manufacturer of silicon crystal wafers.  Project time: 1 week effort in St. Petersburg, Russia

 

Operational Management and Marketing for a Russian Software Companies.  Technology: Banking Data Management Software.  Project scope: Developed plans to promote potential Western European and US Agreements on licensing, distributors, subcontracting, and business partnerships. Recommended changes in market strategy including newly designed promotional materials and a direct mail campaign to banks in the area. The company sold the banking program to IBM, which installed it in computers purchased by Russian banks, and to a larger software company that bundled it with its own software. Sales increased 300 per cent, and the company hired eight programmers to meet demand for new orders. Project time: 2 weeks effort in St. Petersburg, Russia.
